If you are inspired by nature, curious about clay or have ever wondered how do artists get those beautiful colours in ceramics then this is the perfect course for you. In this 2 part workshop Jakki will guide you through each step of the process to design, make and decorate an animal or bird themed panel, the following week you will then learn how to use glaze to enhance your design and highlight texture. Cost - £110.
- Impressing, incising, stamping experimentations designing simple animal/bird template - simplifying imagery, tell a story
- Create tile panel(s) using templates and selecting appropriate texturising
- Exploring glazing - application of semi transparent glazes on experimentation pieces.
- Creating a harmonious and/or contrasting colour palette
- Glaze final outcome tile(s)
